Does Booko need an account?
No. Booko stores your notes on your device, so you can start using it right away.
Which devices are supported?
Booko runs on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, all from the App Store. One Pro purchase works on every device.
Where can I import notes from?
Apple Books, Kindle, WeRead, Dedao, Douban Read, and iReader. See Import reading notes.
What is the difference between the free plan and Pro?
The free plan stores up to 10 books and 1,000 notes, and you can import, organize, search, and share. Pro removes the limit and adds iCloud sync, shuffling to a new note on the widget, sharing without the watermark, and custom backgrounds and fonts. You buy Pro once and keep it forever.
Are my notes uploaded to a server?
No. Your notes stay on your device. With iCloud sync on, they are stored in your own iCloud. See the privacy policy.
Will I lose my notes when I change phones?
Not if iCloud sync is on. Sign in to the same Apple Account on the new device, and your notes sync to it. Without sync, your notes exist only on the old device, so turn on sync or export a backup before you switch. See Sync and backup.
How do I restore a purchase?
Tap Restore Purchases in Booko’s settings, and make sure you are signed in with the Apple Account you used to buy Pro. If it still does not restore, email [email protected].
Something else?
Email [email protected] with your device model, system version, and what you were doing. Screenshots help us find the problem faster.
